2026 Exhibitors
We invite authors, artists, presses, literary organizations, and storytellers of all types to exhibit their wares and make connections with Kansas readers. All exhibitors are situated in outdoor tents on the NW corner of the Washburn University campus.
To participate, please fill out the form linked here by July 1, 2026.
An information sheet will be sent at least three weeks prior to the festival, outlining setup/teardown instructions, parking information, etc. If you have questions prior to then, please email the manager of the exhibitor area at kbfvendors@gmail.com.
2026 Exhibitor Terms & Conditions
- All vendors must have a direct correlation to the book industry or literacy.
- Vendors are responsible for their own signage as well as the set-up/break-down of exhibits the day of the event.
- The Kansas Book Festival will take place rain or shine, running from 9 am to 4 pm.
- Refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather.
- Vendor fees are non-refundable after August 1.
- Vendor’s space is non-transferable. Vendor may not allow anyone else to use the space without express permission of the Kansas Book Festival.
- The Kansas Book Festival, Festival sponsors and their employees, representatives, and agents of each shall not be liable for any claims, liabilities, costs and charges (including attorneys’ fees and costs) arising out of any injury, loss or damage to the person or property of Exhibitor, its employees, representatives or agents.
- All vendors who sell products are responsible for payment of state tax on gross sales.
PLEASE NOTE: The Kansas Book Festival will provide a Special Event Tax ID Form and packet to individual authors and nonprofits, but publishers should have their own sales-tax certificate already and should be using their own sales-tax ID in relation to the Kansas Department of Revenue (KDOR).
