The 2023 Kansas Book Festival will be held at the Mabee Library and the Memorial Union on the campus of Washburn University.  Please note the yellow book icons for those two buildings.

Also note that between the two buildings will be vendors, food, and a variety of performers.

Main Address: Mabee Library, 1800 SW 19th Street, Topeka, KS 66621

Directions: From I-70 downtown, take the Macvicar Exit. Drive south to SW 19th Street and turn left, parking in the lot at that intersection. The Mabee Library is in the center of campus, and you can walk or take the golf-cart shuttle, if necessary. The Union is just fifty yards away from the Library.

Parking: The best places to park are in the green lots on the NW corner or western side of campus: #10 or #9.  Also, brown lots that are shown as “restricted” are available on weekends.

*** Festival activity locations are noted on all maps with a yellow book icon.

Here are the spaces in the Mabee Library, on the second (main) and third levels, where Festival activities will take place.  See, also, the rooms in the Memorial Union where sessions will take place.
